Block the sites U want!!
Many times in schools, colleges & offices surfing some sites like orkut, porn sites etc are banned ! Do U also wanna do the same... here is the way to block these type of sites.!
Do The Following :
- Suppose you want to block www.abc.com .
- Open the folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
- In etc folder, you will find a file named hosts
- Click to select the file .
- Press SHIFT key and now right click on it .
- From the right click menu select Open with .
- Now, select Notepad to open the file from the list !
- Now, Go to the line 127.0.0.1 localhost
- Below this line add another line as 127.0.0.2 www.abc.com
- Now, Go to File>>Save (press Ctrl+S)
- Now, open your web browser and try to open the www.abc.com , You won't be able to open it.!
